Anthony wasn’t good at UNC, but the thing with him is there’s visual evidence of why he wasn’t good. The entire team was bad, the spacing was bad, they were in the 11th percentile in 3pt shooting, etc etc.

I’m not saying he’s gonna be Dame, but he’s gonna be better than he was at UNC.

Right, and it’s not like we have no information on him from before he went to UNC. It wasn’t a good fit. But he has the pedigree, and skills to be a player in this league, IMO.

It's North Carolina, not Davidson, or Weber State, or LeHigh. The entire team wasn't bad, and if Anthony was great, he would have made them better. It's not like they have some shitty coach.
THey had a losing overall record.
Dean Smith started coaching in 1962. That team finished 8-9. Over the next 58 years they had 1 losing season, in 2002 during Doherty's terrible 3 year stint as the head coach. This is their 2nd losing season in 58 years. That's not easy to do.

I'm not saying Anthony won't be a good NBA player, but he is not someone i would label as a sleeper like Donovan Mitchell or Devin Booker. Great players should excel in college.

Chris Paul took Wake Forest to the tourney both years he was there, departing in 2005. They have made the tourney 4 times since he left, and been over .500 only 5 times during that time span. He played with a bunch of nobodies and finished 3rd and 2nd in the ACC, not 2nd to last.
