I’ve already spoken my peace about Epic games and their peacocking. Unreal Engine’s use on iOS will be removed effective August 28th pending a court order that Epic wins in a matter of a week in a half.
What a fricking idiot. What did I tell you? He doesn’t care about the consumer or really even the devs. It’s all about the brand and getting a bigger share in the space. If he doesn’t win any of the lawsuits or cases in this matter he is officially the biggest clown in the gaming industry.

We aren’t talking ethics. Not actual business my dude. His background is in mechanical engineering. Although he’s been “in business” for over 20 years, he has no educational background in business whatsoever. Fortnite may have been Tim’s original idea but Darren Sugg and Donald Mustard helped shape it into the juggernaut it is today.
Your snooty comment doesn’t change the fact the dude bypassed TOS in TWO stores and expects to come out of unscathed. He’s picking fights with Steam, Google, Apple and probably Microsoft pretty soon if they ever enter the console race and cloud gaming.

Now his company snatches up Hitman 3 exclusively for his store only on PC. Says he's against things like that then does the same because, guess what? He just wants a bigger piece of the pie doing the same thing. Such a fraud.

Of course they’re going to claim Epic wanted special treatment to the detriment and exclusion of other companies—but that isn’t the case. The title of Sweeney’s email is literally “consumer choice and competition”.

In early 2019, there was like 2-3 of us on this board who were vocally opposed to EGS, now it’s the near majority opinion it seems.
