One LSU QB to lead the team on an 80yd drive to win the NC, who would you pick??

I know I'll probably get bashed for this, but my choice still has to be RO (Disclaimer: my following of LSU Football starts with the Hodson Era)!!

I can still picture him in my head waiting until the very last sec to let go of the ball knowing good and well that he was going to get tatoo'd in the mouth by some charging LB. That and him waving the ball around while defenders were wrapped around him to give himself a little more time to complete a pass. He and J Reed together was just a thing of beauty.

I know. I know. I have a Rohan Davey man crush!! Damn I'm ready for some footbal!!

Russell. Dude had ice in his veins with the game on the line.

+1, although the late 4th quarter drive by JR in the 06 Tennessee game was a thing of beauty.

May very well be the best QB to ever play for LSU to never be the starter. Would have started on most teams in the SEC. People talk about Flynn's patience? That's nothing compared to Guidry's patience and dedication. A quality Tiger, forever.

I agree. He could get the whole 80 on one pass.
