Dad bod- nearly 6', 228 lbs.
I tried one of Lukas Duncans challenges, but I realize now he really wants to sell 8 week plans. I made good progress, but I would like to have someone coach me.
I think I've settled into a good macro routine that works for me, but I need someone to stay on my arse and explain why to do whatever we're doing.
I used to be a 3 sets of 12 guy, but now I understand drop sets and supersets better because of Lukas.
I subscribed to Stoppani, and I like it- but the workouts I've attempeted seem to take almost 2 hours to complete if I roll some cardio in.
I like to be at the gym for 5:00 am and home for 6:15- I live close and don't mind being there for a long time on weekends. I love going- just feel like a I need someone that can design a plan for me and possibly speak with over the phone or Zoom to make it happen.

If you have the macro thing down, why not just do something like greyskull and get after it?

essentially if you don’t want to be like everyone else and continue to look the same year after year despite being in the gym 5 days a week…well step up, read the following and rid yourself of frickarounditus.
All this! Thanks! I put in my Lukas Duncan thread that I had a history of working out, but gave up a few years ago because I got lazy.
What I meant to say was - I was in the gym lifting heavy 5 days a week at least, riding my goddamn road bike 50 miles in a lick, and doing mini sprint Triathlons for fricking giggles with no training (like wake up Saturday morning, realize there was one, and go do it). I remember once, I jogged 8 miles just to see if I could do a half marathon without training for one- I couldn’t- but it was 8 miles at least.
Even then, I was in a 36 pants with flab around my middle. Logged every calorie, but didn’t understand the macros.
I read your Greyskull primer last night- thanks for taking the time on that. I’m gonna try- it seems to fit my mindset.
