.300 PRC (precision rifle cartridge) was designed to get maximum case capacity and still have the ability to seat a long high BC bullet (212 up to 225gr). It’s based off the .375 Ruger which is belt less.
It was designed specifically for long range shooting.
Shooting times

Thank that’s the kind of information I was looking for.
I had ruled out the .338 lapua, at my age I have no interest in turning my body into a recoil mechanism.
