Has the Rock made a movie that a person wants to re-watch over and over? Like a Gladiator, Die Hard, Winter Soldier.

That’s why he makes the most money. He doesn’t say no to bad scripts and bad ideas. He’s not worried about his resume, he’s worried about his net worth. He’s a draw himself, he doesn’t have to worry about his resume. Too many actors worried about how their movies do in the box office or with the critics and they pick and choose their movies

Obviously Fast and Furious stuff. I also really like both Jumanji movies he starred in. Moana is fantastic and wildly popular among kids, so their parents often have to rewatch. The Rundown is underrated too.

As far as non-starring roles, I like Get Smart with Steve Carrell where the Rock has a major role. Mummy Returns as well. Both very rewatchable.

Even his subpar films, I usually like the Rock in them and he’s often the best part. The dude just oozes charisma as he has been for 20+ years

You're forgetting the kids and how popular things like Moana, the Jumanjis, and even junk like his Journey to the Center of the Earth sequel and tooth fairy are with them.

I like the Rock. I've been a fan since his days in the WWF, even before the catchphrases and the eyebrow. But honestly, I've not made the effort to see any of his movies in ages. The last I watched may have been The Scorpion King or Walking Tall. If not for the Rock's presence on-screen, the types of movies he makes would go straight to Redbox in most cases.
