They knew damn well the PAC 12 would follow suit. They look like the angel woke conference and, as usual, the southern conferences look like a bunch of knuckle dragging rednecks.

Both big ten and pac 12 know the optics will force the hand of the big 12... which then brings into question the legitimacy of a 2020 fall football season played only by the ACC and SEC.

I’ll be surprised if after taking shots by news outlets they still play.

Edit: To the teams like Nebraska that say the kids are safer in their athletic program than at home... you know the big ten and pac 12 will say “ohhh well the kids can stay on campus and experience the same environment as if they were playing”

Yeah, well who’s going to pay for that? You’re already sucking wind after not having march madness. How can you think you’ll be able to afford the light bill without the tv money? Ohhhh yeah, that’s right, you’ll take out a loan and stiff the tax payers with the bill.

I think it's going to go the exact opposite of how you just described.

To whom, the soy sipping media that had these thoughts already?

Pretty sure the SEC powers that be don't give a shite about that. This is just confirmation that "it just means more"

You know who cares about that? Very athletic 17 and 18 year olds with dreams of playing in the NFL. This will only strengthen the league

They’re going to be broke and get bent over by the feminists next spring when they don’t lose money fielding all the bullshite women’s sports that lose money without having football cash on board.

Also good luck losing all your big time recruits bc they see your school is a bunch of spineless pussies.

Also good look graveling to boosters for money again.

I doubt it was planned, but they also dropped the bomb 15 mins before Biden announced a VP

This isn’t even debatable

Not let young black men show case their football talent, which gives them a shot at generational wealth if they're great at it, is incredibly not woke.

I disagree.

Big10 is getting blasted today...internally, and externally.

Except they lost the PR battle and look dysfunctional.

Their players and coaches are in full revolt along with senators, governors and POTUS.
