So how do we pay for the government? If I said do away with social security something makes me suspect most would throw a fit saying it’s due them because they’ve promised me it etc. So how should we pay for it, or just keep making our kids pay for it like we’re doing?

Make a list of everything taxed... I’ll check back in a week when you are close to finishing. Perhaps a better way exists. Maybe a lockbox

I’m 32. Abolish social security. Make it a cut off date, something like 55 and older can still pay into it and get funding from it. Everyone under can opt out
