Is it possible the SEC actually rewarded LSU?

Just like in the playoffs, Coach O said, “We don’t care who we play. We’ll play in a parking lot in Canada at midnight if we have to.”

With that attitude combined with the other SEC teams bitching about who they could potentially play, did the SEC just reward us for having the “anyone, anywhere” attitude?

That, and oh yeah Scott Woodward! We’ve finally got an AD boys!

I mean there was only really one tough team we could have possibly been paired with

They would have really screwed over Georgia if they gave them LSU. They already play Bama and Auburn. That had something to do with it.

They did give LSU two of what I would say are the bottom 3 of the SEC East (probably bottom 4 SEC as a whole).

We also play S. Carolina. There is no doubt that LSU has the easiest cross divisional schedule even with Florida.

Pretty surprising and doesn’t seem to make sense, but whatever. Is there a pattern in the scheduling? LSU supposed to play @mizzou in ‘23 and played at vandy last year

I think they gave the good teams from last year the worst teams from last year.

So yes

Its Possible.

Its also possible that this was the right thing to do.

I believe the SEC did the right thing across the board for the elite teams. Sankey deserves credit for doing a helluva job. New respect for him taking this opportunity to do the right thing. Outstanding!

Who's total strength of schedule of the elite teams is out of line comparatively? Which is a nice change.

And if you knit pick a game here or there go back the last few years and ask yourself, which teams deserved the benefit of doubt the most?
