I remember this. Friends father was an ATC but he was a supervisor and couldn’t be in the Union. So he wasn’t fired. Dude made unreal bank working double and triple time OT until the whole thing resolved.

Reagan taught everyone how to deal with unions. Most people are too nutless to do the same tho.
