I bought something marked used on there that had tax on it. Hell, I bought something used from an individual in Russia they put tax on.

That’s not right. The local government(s) have no right to this money. Double taxation on used items. No way eBay is sending that on behalf of seller, because the law does not require them to. Where is this money going?

Where is the sale considered to happen? Buyer’s location or seller’s?
