This board almost has me convinced to go electric. With my manual rapala, I have crappie down to 4 minutes per fish, boneless skinless filets. If I could get that down to 2 minutes that'd be nice.

I can do a speck in roughly 15 secs, once you figure it out it's like riding a bike. Let the knife do the work, similar to using a skill saw.

I only use manual knives. I cant control the electric and butcher filets. I clean specks in the same time my electric friends do.
Plain old wood handled rapala. Keep it sharp with both a stone and the red sharpener they come with. When I nick it up I get a new one. $15 or so.
May change to a Dexter but cannot find one with a sheath.
