Anyone have experience with this organization? My son is 4 and I'm looking to get him involved with baseball this fall and I see they have a league coming up.

Jaxxsyn will be in the show in no time.

get him hitting off the tee with wiffle balls in the backyard before tryouts. they can be very selective. 4 is a competitive age

What was his OBS last year? He may not be qualified for travel ball.

Went to the Lugnut website to buy some merch from the team store but there isn't any available right now. Probably back ordered.

If you saw their 6&7 year old team at Traction this week then this might be a bait post....the owner of that organization made a complete fool of himself and scarred their reputation. Ask around locally and you will found out all you need to know. But i have a feeling you already know ??????????????????

Not sure if you're serious (I knew a lot of jokes were coming), but he already does this. Problem is he now knows how to hit with me soft tossing to him and he doesnt like to hit it off the tee anymore.

Not a bait post at all, but this is why I came her to pose the question. Can you give more detail, who is the owner?

Braxxtyn plays for the Truck Nuts organization.

Better get him into some private hitting lessons ASAP. Another year without him, and he’ll be too far behind the competition.

Sign him up for local tee ball and enjoy the time at that age.
Honestly travel ball before 11 is a waste of time and money

Is it just travel ball tournaments and not a regular season? I'm not opposed to local tee ball, but not sure of any that still have openings for fall leagues. Any suggestions would be great.

Not at all. My oldest didn't start until he was 12ish. My younger 2 have already started (7 and 8). We pay very little and only twice have traveled over an hour. But it's nice watching kids of all ages play real baseball. Catching fly balls. Making double plays, etc. I'd rather spend a weekend doing that than 2 games a week watching kids kick the ball in the outfield and fall down while "running" to first base. But to each his own. I don't have any other hobbies. So this is what we do.

Who owns/runs the Lugnuts nowadays?

Finally, someone with real perspective on the hated travel ball
