Appreciate all the responses. I have a blade and a grater box. Not trying to go real deep, but mostly looking for a water to collect to. 6-8 inches would probably bee the deepest I'll take a ditch.

Really appreciate the replies.

Can you angle your hitch arm? I have a turnbuckle that will raise or lower my right side hitch arm. I've made ditches with my box blade by angling it. Just another option if you're not in a tight space.

One option If your only going 6-8 inches you may be better off just using your grader box. Put half the teeth in it and leave half out pull you a swale that way you can mow it and not have to deal with a “ditch”.
