curious if the LASC ends up disciplining firms for inquiring if an applicant passed the bar or not

If the malpractice carriers require that information then how can the firm get in trouble?

Anyone admitted between the last testing and the next real one is going to pretty much be a “no”

Would you even need to ask? Wouldn't the date of admission on the disciplinary counsel's website be a clear give away, since those taking the test would have later admission dates?
