The problem is, there are conservative enclaves in each state, usually In the suburbs, and they are constantly outvoted by the citizens of the large liberal cities. So unfortunately, these people are harmed through no fault of their own for their states inactions.

I’m afraid Louisiana is turning into one of these states. Too many educated people leaving. We will be left with liberal shitholes for cities and no one to cover their votes.
