WASHINGTON -- Assistant Attorney General for National Security John C. Demers, FBI Deputy Director David L. Bowdich, U.S. Attorney William D. Hyslop for the Eastern District of Washington, and Special Agent in Charge Ray P. Duda of the FBI Seattle Field Office will participate in a press conference announcing charges in a national security cyber matter.

Following the press conference, reporters may stay on the line for a background briefing on the indictment with a DOJ prosecutor.

WHEN: Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at 11:30 a.m. EST

WHERE: JUSTICE.GOV/LIVE

Justice.gov

Wonder what this could be about.

ETA: Here is a link to watch live. Starts in about 25 minutes. DoJ Live

ETA2: The presser is over. They announced charges against two Chinese hackers. The allegation is that these guys have stolen hundreds of millions of dollars worth of intellectual property including stuff that related to Covid19. They didn't give too much detail on what they took related to Covid though. Mentioned hacking into the systems of antiviral researchers.

I doubt it'll be some nerd in a basement. They said it's a national security issue.

Maybe they'll announce they're indicting Clinton?

Eh, only one indictment. If it’s Obamagate related, it’s probably the attorney who manipulated the email from the CIA to make Page look guilty.

Not saying this is not interesting because it is and I'm curious but this is out in Washington State so it probably has noting to do with the Durham investigation (which everyone is interested in).

They'll probably indict a member of the Trump family for the Seth Rich murder. Thats about how it's gone so far.

Me too. That's also where I chose to stop quoting from the release.

I really hope this isn't true. I'm so damn tired of hearing about the Russians. We need something with some meat on the bone.

I think the UK had a damning muh Russia report...

Sound familiar?

Sounds like UK & the US deep state are taking full cover and backing Burr & Warner's bogus final muh Russia report put out weeks ago. (Which documents have denied)

I think people like Sundance and others are organizing to prove this big shadowy muh Russian deep state game wrong.
