I really don't know who to put where. in 2019, Baskerville and Clark were pretty damn good. The asterisk year put a hurt on everyone.

Also, I am expecting M Hampton to break back out. He is a great safety but was injured. If he really is 6-210, I'd be intrigued to see him at the Jacoby Hybrid role.

eta.....again, this is just a list to put one man in one slot.

I expect Josh Williams will be on scholarship again this year.
Jared Small and Lloyd Cole are strong possibilities as well. I dont think we hand out a scholarship and pull it back.

And theres natural attrition that will occur in the spring, summer, through fall camp.

The numbers always work. Plus we have 8 or 9 guys who returned and wont count against our 81 number this year

Yeah I get where you are coming from on that. Plus no telling what personnel and how they will be used by the new D staff.
One position I think a lot of people view as deep and talented is at DE. Me I am a little wary of that point of view. Andre Anthony is all around solid and I think he will have a good year. But Gaye it looked to me to be terrible against the run and never could set the edge or maintain containment. Maybe he was just coached to sell all out to get to the QB though. I'm sold on him in obvious pass situations but not sure as an every down DE. Ojulari, much as I like his potential, is just to small at 235 lbs. I like the potential of the true freshman Jackson, Jones, and Langston, but they will be, like I said, true freshman. Then Cherry and Fanua have been here a while and barely get on the field. Dont have a clue about Desmond Little, but he always seemed he was going to be a project. As deep as we are at DT I am wondering if maybe one of those guys can be moved out to DE. Maybe Jaquelin Roy. I know he will be pushing for a starter spot at DT but he also looks to have some speed for a 300 lb'er and can get after the QB. That would also open up a role for Mason Smith to jump right into the rotation at DT, who looks physically ready to do that, even as a true freshman.
