I’ve pretty much decided the United Methodist church we’ve been a member of for a long time is gonna have to go. First it was the gay marriage thing where the minority (in favor of marrying gays, gay pastors, etc.) are taking the bulk of resources and forcing the majority (those opposed) to break off on their own. Then they went ‘all in’ on BLM and white privilege crap. It sucks but we’ll have to find another church to attend and donate to. They don’t want us anymore.

I agree. I was married in the Methodist Church although I was raised Catholic . It seems like fewer and fewer mainline churches offer clear and concise moral instruction anymore. I enjoy the simplicity and immediacy of a third world Buddhist service just as a meditation , - but it doesn’t do much from a Christian theological standpoint obviously.
