My brother did "Thatch Caye" which looked awesome.

I went to a destination wedding on Ambergris Caye and stayed at the Victoria House and loved it.
Had a great time as they had lots of excursions especially if you are into fishing, diving, etc

Caye Caulker. Ambergris Caye is growing by leaps and bounds and is very touristy

If you want to get away from all the tourist and fish and dive the same places as Ambergris Caye, look to Xcalak in Mexico. You can get waterfront (100' from the water) boutique hotels for around $125 a night.
Shallow Coral reefs everywhere for 300 yards out before you hit deep water.

Looking into Coco Plum right now
Thinking about the 6 night Honeymoon Cabana

Cocoplum, where Swervin Ervin and Benjamin Franklin will sling you drinks the entire time. When it's slow they will hand cast off the dock for lunch lol

They bring an entire breakfast to your villa daily at Turtle Inn. Just call them on a sea-she’ll phone and it’s there in 20 minutes. Villa is 30’ from the water

that looks cool as shite but no AC? how did you handle that at night? I can be hot as hell all day but like AC at night.

Get a sea front villa and the breeze comes in From the water. There is a screened porch and then the front door. So the windows were open along with the front door. But the screen door was closed. That combined with the fans, it wasn’t an issue. We went in November so I suspect March weather would be similar perhaps. Full disclosure, I keep the A/C on 67 when I sleep plus a fan. I like it cold when I sleep.
If you are interested, I can find the actual villa number we stayed in. It’s on the corner of the property so we had a ton of privacy. I can also link pics...again, if you are interested

March isn't that hot down there. It's pretty much perfect weather.

did yall have cell signal? which cellular provider? how about the wifi, was it worth a crap?
Posted on 7/15/20 at 4:01 pm to diat150
Can’t remember about a cell signal. They had WiFi and used that for internet, texting and some calls. The WiFi was good enough to follow live feed for LSU/A&M 7 OT game. Not video bc I couldn’t find a platform internationally on my tablet. But the live updates worked. Only time I really used any technology while there other than camera and texting.

yeah im definitely gonna have to have cellular. I went to tulum area a few years ago and cell was readily available with AT&T.

I would call them to be certain. It’s located in the town Placencia. So I would imagine they have cellular service
