Other than your own, what are your favorite and least favorite states?

Favorite: Vermont
This state is my favorite because it just keeps to itself. It was also independent longer than any other state, so take that, Texas. Also, grossly underrated in terms of things to do.
Unpopular opinion: Ben and Jerry's is an overpriced scam
Runner-ups: Kentucky and North Carolina
I'm biased, because they both border Tennessee and I've spent extensive time in both. But they're full of friendly people and plenty of interesting things to do.
Least Favorite: California
In-N-Out sucks. Los Angeles is the nastiest, ugliest big city in America. The people there are so weird they're basically aliens. Can we just give this place back to Mexico? Next person I hear talk about this place like it's Cloud Nine will get their teeth bashed in.

Since Oregon is technically "my state" now, I'll go with Utah as favorite. Least favorite would probably be New Jersey. But I've never been there, so I'll go with Iowa. Haven't been through there in 30 years, but back then, it seemed like the entire state was one massive corn field.

Hawaii is easily my #1 specifically Kauai.
California is a close second.
In-N-Out is great. Napa has some of the best restaurants in the US. J-Tree, Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, etc are excellent if you like the outdoors.
The least favorite is close between OK and NJ. That said NJ has places like Grand View on Hudson so it beats out OK in the end, so OK is last.

Favorite: North Carolina. Good people, lots of cool places, Tail of the Dragon.
Least Favorite: California. A beautiful state filled with the most vile people in America.

I like all the ones that allow me to grow pot and smoke it legally.
No matter where I'm at, if I hate the city I can always build some jason voorhees shack in the woods and make it work.

Favorite: North Carolina. Although I can kinda claim it as my own, having lived there for 8 years previously. Great people, scenery, and culture. A mix of everything to do... mountains, beach, big city, lakes, etc.
Least favorite: The people of California are by far the worst, but it is too beautiful of a state to hate on. I’ve never particularly been a fan of Ohio. Ugly, cold, and nothing much to do.

Typical southern cuck hating on California. When was the last time you left Tennessee?

Weird to base your opinion on a huge, diverse state on just one city within it. I could see hating Rhode Island because Providence sucks, but there is a ton more to California than just Los Angeles.
