Think about it, it's a win/win. If it works and COVID disappears as some "experts" claim, then its over.
I'm in Texas this weekend. They have had a mask mandate and it's a joke. People are wearing cotton mask and things that are basically cut off shirt sleeves thinking that will stop any kind of small particles. It's like using a chainlink fence to keep mosquitoes out.

i'm all against masks, and you're a good dude, but this analogy is terrible
the problem is there is no exception for people with antibodies. if i dont have the virus i'm saving nobody by wearing a mask. the problem is asymptomic people not wearing a mask does spread it. masks don't help from catching the virus, they only help prevent it from spreading

Wouldn’t it be nice if instead of fighting people on wearing any face-covering at all we could better spend that time educating on proper mask use.

Good analogy if the virus is purely airborne. Terrible analogy if the virus requires water droplets as a vector.
We currently believe the virus requires water droplets as a vector.

That’s what they say to do though! Nevermind that in January and February, every single one of the doctors screaming about wearing a mask now was saying how they wouldn’t do ANY good.
