i like riccobono's panola street cafe. blue bird is pretty good too

Tulane TigerFan hit two pretty good casual breakfast spots. If you are looking to be downtown, Petunias is good.
Best would probably be Brennans.

Surrey's for casual
Brennan's,Commanders for expensive brunch.
If yuo like Louie's Cafe in BR then Camellia Grill is about the same. I find both overrated though.

I took the wife to Brennan's last year. It was good but not worth the price IMHO.

Lil Dizzy's Cafe on Poydras in the Hibernia Bank Lobby. Heard it is great.
I've eaten a great lunch there and it is a cool building/atmosphere.

I haven't been in a few years but Camellia Grill was damn good. Look out Gary, I have Arec Barrwin.
