Is there a good boudin place in da H? I know of Heberts from Lafayette area & LC that's by galleria, never tried if they have boudin, but i recall some good plate lunches.
All the other "Louisiana" restaurants in Houston i have tried were not it.. BB's was just a total misfire, and the asian boil chain LA Crawfish was not good. I believe I recall seeing a steamboat bills was opening, but that's nothing special.
I too would rather live in a place with WAY more poverty, crime, and corruption for rice and liver in casing.

You can get boudin shipped to you no matter where you live. It’s expensive to ship it out to the west coast or up to the northeast, but it’s very affordable to have delivered to your door in Houston.

Dorothy said it best. There’s no place like home.
