The media sharks are already swarming. It’s going to turn into another partisan clusterfrick, and I already see a large amount of teachers emotionally pleading for their safety. Well frick, you’re like the only ones NOT working at this point. Sack up like the rest of us. Although, if I was getting full pay to have a 15 min ZOOM meeting each day I probably wouldn’t want to go back either.

They'll still ask for raises even of they distance learn. If they have to teach they'll cry for hazard pay. Teachers are twats.

This would be a huge win for Trump imo.

Parents dont want to have to babysit their school aged children.

I have talked to many parents and this spring was hard on them.

You can’t get all people back to work if schools are closed.

That’s the game. To wreck the economy.

I agree. I've seen several of my friends that are teachers and administrators already complaining on Facebook. I've worked every single day through all of this. It's no big deal.

I have zero sympathy for them. They already only work 6 months out of the year and have played their part in indoctrinating the last couple of generations.

Get your asses back to work.

Schools will remain closed at every level in the fall, I agree. Too much media pressure.

I have lost hope myself. Our system is set to resume in several weeks, however, they are still working on a contingency plan on what to do if they have ONE (UNO) positive case in a school. Options include closing the school for 24 hours and disinfecting. They are following CDC guidelines. We are screwed.

My city wants my 6 year old to wear a mask to school, so I'm kind of on board with shutting the whole thing down.

Saw this in a meeting today. Multiple teachers (two females and one mouth-open-selfie frickhead) were dripping soaking wet with emotional fluff about how we all have to wear masks.

It’s ridiculous. Kids aren’t spreading the virus. Not one study says they do and anecdotal anomalies should be tossed into the wind.

I’m so over the fear mongering, the cowardice, the clutching of pearls.

But it’s only going to get worse. I think we have a long decade ahead of us and I’m not sure what kind of America we’re going to end up with.

I'm a teacher. I hope we go back. No raise needed.

It’s already happening.

But Daddy Don won’t have it happen without a defunding type of fight.
