I was told I don’t have to wear one for the following exceptions:
Wearing a mask/face covering will create a risk to officer safety.
Wearing a mask/face covering prevents effective communications.
Wearing a mask/face covering interferes with an emergency/immediate response.
I keep the email easily available on my phone and provide it to businesses in the event that they ask me to comply.
