The stark contrast between media coverage of Democrats and Republicans continues to play out. Stacey Abrams lost her race for governor and the fawning lap dog sycophantic media continue to call her a rising star in the Democrat party.
Kristi Noem actually won the governership , is articulate, loves her country and has everything the media should be fawning over in a female leader. Yet she drew barely a ripple until her speech last night. She will be sure to garner media attention now. Very little of it favorable. Expect the New York Times to send 8 journalists to literally peer over her back yard fence as they did to Sarah Palin.

So like Beta she’s perpetually #2, and your surprised they promote her.

The last thing the left wants is a smart, good looking, successful and likeable woman on the right rising to national prominence in a leadership position. They will do everything they can to avoid covering Noem, and if it becomes apparent that they can't ignore her, they will go all out to destroy her.

The Republicans need to really build her profile in the next four years. She may be very prominent in 2024. Its doubtful there will be an incumbent running regardless of who is elected this November. Noem should be a prominent candidate for either of the top two spots on the Republican ticket. It would quell the gender diversity issue which the Democrats brandish.
She dropped out of college to run her family's ranch when her father died in an accident. She then completed her degree at age 40. The media will have a hard time attacking her as she has not been extreme on issues. Of course they will try but she seems to have the ability to respond with facts and not emotion .
We are at the point where both parties will have a changing of the guard. A new wave of national players will emerge and the 45 to 55 year old group will begin to capture the limelight. We know the Democrats will provide an overwhelming number of female, black and Hispanic candidates. The Republican party must adapt to the changing demographics while holding on to its core values. The abortion issue will not win any more votes, stop seeking back door ways to end it. Demand that all GOP office holders stop making comments which might sound good in their heads but are horrible for the party image and allow the media to paint all Republicans with a broad brush. A personality like Kristi Noem may be just what is needed to bring the party forward and rebuff the leftists.

Tucker Carlson President and Noem VP.

She's not a DC creature, that is for sure and that will also scare the shite out of the establishment. She isn't an Ivy Leaguer, she's struggled and it looks like she's overcome those struggles and endured.

In theory, maybe, but Tucker has too much of a trail of his commentary that the left would attack, taking comments out of context and paint his as an extremist.

Trump is pro-gay, but to hear the media and the queer Nazis tell it he's putting them in camps if he can't throw them off of rooftops.
The truth quit mattering to the media long ago.

What's the difference you're inferring?

There are a lot of people who look like Abrams ( not necessarily physically) in Georgia and she still lost.

Abrams is Georgia’s governor in exile.

Sorry to say this, but it doesn't matter who the Republicans run in 2024. There will never be another Republican president after Trump. Just look at the demographics.

This is evident by walking into anybook store. Books about RBG. Maya Anngelou. (Sp?) Even a book byStacy Adams ....nothing about ....Sandra Day Oconnor or right leaning women. Its sad

All true. This South Dakota Governor is 800 million times better than that fatass bitch from Georgia.
But, the same could be said for Melania Trump vs. Michele Obama, and we all know the night-and-day difference in how they've been treated.

A couple of years ago I was in Barnes and Noble and there was an aisle rack display of about 12 books on Donald Trump. There were 11 books which were negative about him and one slightly favorable. There were other books on the shelves which were favorable or at least neutral, but the decision to portray Trump as negatively as possible was clearly intentional. To add insult to injury they even had a couple of Obama books with his big smile and clearly fawning [publications.
I asked the clerk why they did it and she could not answer. I called the manager the next week and got some corporate drivel.

I just read her Wiki and think I’m in love:
—was South Dakota Snow Queen
—married at 20 and still married to same man 28 years later
—dropped out of college at 22 to save the family far, when her father passed away from a farming accident
—added a hunting lodge and restaurant to the property
—served 4 years in the S.D. House of Representatives
—elected to U.S. House of Representatives 4 times and served all 4 terms
—continued taking college classes online and received her degree in political science as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives
—elected 1st female governor of South Dakota
—will likely be elected to a 2nd term and have 6 years executive experience to go with her 12 years of legislative experience at both the state and national level to go with her business experience
—will be 52 in ‘24, old enough to the gravitas and experience to be a serious player in the GOP presidential primaries, while still being young and vigorous enough to be attractive there as well
She has to start being groomed to have more national prominence and presence. She may be asked to be a part of Trump’s administration should he win a 2nd term, but if she has Presidential aspirations, she may be better served staying a bit distanced from him and remaining in Executive office. I will be following her career for sure.
