Hate to be the get off my lawn guy but you are absolutely right. Hot garbage is the only way to describe what’s put out these days. Just reading that list is nostalgic. Craziest part is I remember almost everyone one those videos just reading the track title. I can’t tell you the last time I saw a music video. Do they make them still?

Just a few weeks ago I randomly listened to Say My Name by Destiny's Child (Beyonce and Kelly Rowland plus whoever else was in it at that time).

I then realized that song is 21 years old. That just absolutely blows my mind the song is THAT old.

Music was so good back then. The music was just fun. From DMX Party Up to Forgot About Dre to Kid Rock and Aaliyah. It was just such a great time in America and the vibe that the music had back then in pre-9/11 and really pre-internet days was pure magic.

I don’t know man. Chillaxin by the pool with young teen kid and friends and listening to newer music on Pandora and there’s some damn good songs out the last couple of years. But I’ve always been pretty open minded with music.
