Yep the whole "who cares, it doesnt effect me" mindset is why this country is going down the shitter.
I get it to a point, but you cant ignore everything in life that doesnt directly effect you because eventually what visits everyone else's doorstep will be visiting yours.
This is extraordinarily minor in the grand scheme, but I dont appreciate the message it sends. It just re-affirms tribalist attitudes and further divides black from white.
This entire "systemic racism" movement has done nothing but divide black and white people. It has no coherent message and is as vague as you can get.
They're high on symbolic gestures but low on specifics and message.
How do we fight systemic racism? If you ask BLM its : give up your job, give up your property, vote for reparations. Aka, self-immolate because of something your ancestors did and give everything to people who didn't experience any of the things they want justice for.
