are you capable are actually arguing or discussing actual points/arguments?

or will you just continually make up your own and argue against those over and over again?

*I already know the answer

Agreed. You shouldn't need a reason for not wearing a mask. If you don't want to wear one, don't wear one.

Cool. I've never argued otherwise.

Y'all continually try to put others beliefs onto me. Its super annoying.

I don't see any difference in this and those people that claim that their dog is an emotional support animal in order to bring them onto planes.

eta: They're all douchebags.

I typically ignore her since she isn't worth the effort, but I'm bored, so

Nothing. You are too stupid to realize that you are arguing the CDC stats aren’t facts.

I feel like I’m picking on a retarded child. I feel bad, honestly.

Go back and read the thread. My initial post was a reply to Mingo's post about inconsistent positions relating to government overreach.

You responded to me arguing that I was missing your point. I, to that point, never addressed any point you made in the thread.

no, Mingo's post was about the inconsistent positions about lying to get around government mandates

this was the post Mingo was responding to

quote:

This is the fricking logic that brought us “service” dogs on airplanes

I was arguing the same position Mingo was arguing when it came to service animals

No it isn’t. That link shows me asking for proof of a random claim someone made.

So, you don’t agree that the statistical data shows inflated numbers?

That's not what his post says.

Here's his post:

quote:

Well, that's different because they don't agree with service dogs. They are small government conservatives that want to ban the shite they don't like.

Total hypocrites

What does lying to get around bringing dogs on an airplane have to do with banning anything?

Mingo was equating wanting to ban service animals on airplanes with government overreach and attempting to point out the irony in a "small government conservative" wanting government intervention. The flaw, of course, is that government intervention is the reason we have service animals on airplanes in the first place.

i think on this topic - i'm gonna play neutral or indifferent.

personally. i mask up because:
a) my wife is pregnant
b) we both have parents (in good health) over the age of 60+ we visit often
c) my company requires me too when on premise and i really like my job.

BUT.
If a grown arse person tells me they don't want to wear a mask. I'm not mad about like some in this thread are getting melty.
Nor will i question the reasoning behind decision. They are an adult and I will assume they have weighed the pro's and con's and made a personal decision on why not to wear a mask. And I'm all about letting adults make adults decisions and live with adult consequences.
