I agree, which is why it's a crime to take someone else's property. But using deadly force to defend your property is a much more serious crime. You can fight to get your property back, and you can prosecute someone for taking it, but you cannot use deadly force.

Seriously how fricking hard is that to comprehend? This isn't even a "left" or "right" issue, it is universally codified in the laws of every state.

So, you and I make money hand over fist, we lose some no big deal, it happens every day, right? Someone else is living at best day to day and someone tries to take their stuff. no rich people here, just people that need it to survive. What say you, let them go and have the fam w/o or actually keep what you earned? Show us your colors.

I doubt he did that. She lived. They said they confiscated 14 rifles. Surely he could have killed her had he chosen to.
