Trump no longer cares about re-election

He has a very short attention span to begin with, but once you lose the little bit he has, you can forget about it.
We all should be very pissed off at how he is utterly failing at controlling the virus narrative post-reopen.
On balance, the virus data are VERY GOOD. As expected, the media are choosing to frame it dishonestly (or at the very least, incompetently.)
Thus, fairly or unfairly, it falls to the Trump Administration to seize the bully pulpit and control the gottdamned narrative.
How easy would it be to put out a daily message summarizing the good news? Where the frick is this guy?
Anything that happens from here, you should blame it on Trump himself for not even fighting or being at least halfway competent.
Let the downvotes rain, but you know I'm right about this. Enjoy your Trips Dem government and higher taxes.

At this point, why should he give a flying frick? Half the country hates him. The media lie about him daily. The political establishment has tried to ruin the lives of he and his family. This county has gone to hell and deserves everything it has coming.

Everyone in denial is going to downvote you but you are 100% correct. Trump, I believe, WANTS to lose the presidency at this point and it pisses me off. He's not even trying anymore.

I thought his rally would be him condemning the left and the corona narrative in a very serious manner. It would've been a great way to fire up his base and drop truth bombs.
But nope.
He talked about slowing down testing, making deals for AF1, and a 20 min talk about walking down a ramp at West Point because his ego was hurt.
Not to mention not doing a thorough evaluation of attendees and expecting enough people to be there to warrant overflow viewing stages.
This campaign & Trump are way in over their heads.

I love all these posts that act as if this board is causing Trump's actions, so people here deserve a Dem takeover. If you criticize him you're righteous and just and somehow not responsible, but guess what? You're going to get the same government as the people you're bitching about who downvote you, so you'll be enjoying your higher taxes as well.
I'm going to vote. I'm going to vote for Trump. The election outcome will be what it will be, and I'll go on with my life. He won't be the first candidate I voted for that loses, won't be the last.

Strong opinion. I'd love to know what it would take to swing you to the other end of the pendulum in opinion. I'm thinking six shooters on each hip and riding into Seattle on a handsome paint horse and start calling people out into the dusty street, taking them out one by one.
