Playing it today for the first time.
I viewed the drone flyover on their site to get an idea of the layout and I have tried to be ready for club selection on each hole.
Expecting soft fairways and greens.

Greens always break towards the the swamps.
Tigercraig is a member out there but I think he died.

That ain't happening. It's either straight, draw or a hook, with a rare shot to the right.

enjoy hole 5 and 6. Those are my two favorite holes on the front 9. Course will be a bit soggy today so make sure to steer clear of the low lying areas and bring an extra pair of socks.
Grab a drink in the 19th hole when you're done. Club sandwhiches and fish tacos are also great.

My dad is a member out there. I get to play with him out there pretty often. I played last Sunday and it was perfect. Played short and fast with how dry it was. Obviously it will not be like that now.
Putts on 2,3, 13, and 14 all break toward the swamp.
I hit a natural draw with my driver and there are some tee shots that feel uncomfortable to me (1,5,8,and 18) but you will still be fine hitting a draw.
Enjoy the round, it is a great layout.

I'd like to hear what he did on 8.
Damn good golf hole. Short hole with a skinny green. If you're long of the green, you're pretty much dead.
6 is beautiful. 12 is difficult because it's long.
Damn, I forgot how much I liked that course.

Huge hook off the tee OB. Drained a 40’ down hill putt for a 5.

There isn’t a 40’ putt on that green that’s downhill, try again

Pin was front middle and my wedge trickled all the way back. It wasn’t a huge downhill putt, but it was downhill. I only called it huge because of the length.
I really only stepped up to hit the putt to give another matchplay player in our pairing the line because I had already lost the hole. He followed my line and also made his, but his was half the distance.
Rolled in a 20’ on 9 for a par; probably my two highlights of the day. A 3rd possibly would have been 17 when I lipped out a 35+ footer from just off the back of the green.
