Cole is a 6’2” 190 lb QB from California. Seems he’s showing rapid improvement and all the big boys are taking notice. Mike Scarborough thinks if LSU offers, he could be the second QB in the 2021 class.

Dude looks legit. Always looking down the field when he breaks containment and those wheels on that long run

Caleb who?

Love his intangibles
Arm strength a little lacking

Without knowing the competition

Those throws to the corners of the end zones look good.

Damn. This kid is good.

That scramble and throw at 1:30 reminds me of Joe Burrow.

They said at his Elite 11 Regional he has filled his frame out more and had a livelier arm, so there's progress in that regard

Similar. Nuss has a stronger arm I believe; this kid is a little more mobile. Both have quick releases and good vision.

For real. That’s as good of a QB reel as I’ve seen. Great vision, can break tackles, decent wheels, and he stiff armed the frick out of that one dude. Like LE said, competition and arm strength are the only things I don’t know.

That’s good. Like his pocket presence, moves well, feels pressure, throws with touch.

So refreshing to see LSU finally settle on a type of QB. The days of Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson on the same roster are starting to be a thing of the past.

IMO Nuss and Howard are very similar in size, attributes, and style as well. Although Walker may have a stronger arm. Both throw first pocket mobile guys like Burrow.

I'll have to check out this Lourd kid's video.

LSU has had talks with him. His dad is a New Iberia native/LSU grad and Cole is a life long Tiger fan. I think the family makes several games a year. Cole' dad brought Matthew McConaughey to NI and a Tiger Stadium game a couple of years ago.

Two side notes: Cole's uncle, also from NI, is a huge Hollywood agent and was married to and has a daughter with Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia).

I heard that recently, Brentwood High's 1st and 2nd string QBs each had a parent from South Louisiana. Cole's dad from NI and the 2nd string QB's mom (LSU grad) from Lafayette. South Louisiana QBs both at a school in Los Angeles at the same time....small world.

Someone pointed out to me about a year ago a young rising QB from Cali whose parents were both LSU grads, is this him?
