To be fair, one teacher tried to stop the fight and got wrecked, one (correctly) said he doesn't get paid enough for that shite and bounced, and Stingray as a prospective security guard was actively helping Cobra Kai.
As for the original question, I don't see how it's at all possible for Robbie to avoid jail time. Tory should go to jail too TBH b/c she was straight up trying to kill Sam.
I do wonder how the frick all those kids aren't going to be expelled and sent to either juvie or alternative school though. There were a shite load of students filming with their phones and that kind of massive fight would absolutely be burning up the internet on WorldStar and would likely even make national news.

Many of the teachers had recently transferred from East High School.
The karate was surely a pain in the arse, but was still an improvement from having to deal with kids constantly breaking out in song and dance numbers every time a new thought popped into their head.

We finished S2 a week or so ago and thought the school fight was hilariously bad.
I've grown to despise almost any time the kids are on screen. I absolutely love the adult stuff (Kreese/John, John/Danyasa, Danyasa/wife, etc.), but the kids are all terrible actors and their storylines are just plain stupid most of the time.
I love the show, but I'm hoping that S3 focuses less on the kids and more on the J/D rivalry.

Sams mom was like "I'm going to make sure this girl gets expelled". Like it's really going to be that hard? You can't go grab the intercom and incite a riot, commit aggravated assault and get detention.
