The studio where it was filmed was right behind my neighborhood. I used to walk right by it to go to my after-school job back then. One day they had a line to get into one of the trailers and I got in the line. It was an autograph meet and greet with Pryor and Gleason. I didn't have anything to sign so I just said hello and left. Gleason was very cordial, Pryor looked like he would have given anything to get out of there.

The past 3 times I saw "The Jerk" listed, there was actually somethi g else showing on Starz. They probably pulled it.

my parents and sister were in it too. As was my childhood van. They were the white people protesting with pryors wife at the big party towards the end. They still get checks from it a few times a year
