Georgia will be better off without Atlanta

Aside from the current issue, it's also full of (mostly) liberal white transplants and immigrants. I'm guessing this will scare them away. If those two groups had kept moving to GA, it would end up being a tossup state like FL is and TX will be. NC and VA are almost there too I believe

Liberal filth destroys everything it touches.

LMAO! It's the economic engine the drives the entire state and much of the Southeast. 7 Fortune 100 HQ's and 20 fortune 1000 companies make their HQ's there.
Georgia would be a bigger shite hole than Louisiana without metro Atlanta.

You are letting your emotions about the current issues surrounding police interactions cloud your judgement.
Let's be realistic. As much as you may dislike liberal metropoli, they provide a disproportionate amount of wealth to the state. The number of people moving to these locations for jobs, entertainment, etc. is a vital part of the Georgian economy.
If someone can provide some evidence to suggest that Atlanta alone doesn't have more value than several other Georgia counties combined, I would appreciate seeing it and learning something new.
Until then, we need to focus on the problem at hand: how can we better monitor police interaction during crimes or stops. I believe that body cameras should be universal. I'd rather tax money be allocated to the police cameras than some pet project by a politician.
For the record, I saw the video and I believe that the shooting was justified. Had he not resisted arrest this never would have happened. Had he simply stayed in the parking lot and slept, this would have never happened.

It’s right in the middle of the state

Money isn't everything. Our economic ineptitude has shielded Louisiana from mass immigration so it still feels like home; you can't say that for parts of Houston, Atlanta or Miami where fobs dominate. Also white liberals are the worst people in the world, they move from state to state leaving destruction in their wake

Its not even necessary anymore for corporations to have huge downtown offices. Just move your offices to the burbs where the employees actually live or better yet use technology and let people work from home.

The true issue at hand is a news media that deliberately misinforms their audience. Having more cameras doesn't help if what they show is simply ignored.

America would be better off without Democrats.

With that outside money comes strings attached. You have to let boys pee with girls. You have to have massive Pride celebrations. You have to bring in millions of people that don't hold your values or the local culture. Much of that money stays at the top anyway. That money funds the liberalism that begets more liberalism until you have American cities today.

Exactly. I am willing to make less to live in a place that won't become yet another progressive shitfest and be surrounded by transplants and immigrants who despise us if they even think of us. Louisiana will probably never be economically dynamic enough for that to happen

I know over 100 companies since COVID19 started that have permanently moved from office based working environment to completely remote.
Hell, even Slack is moving to permanent work from home.
Big companies no longer need major buildings to do work.

Atlanta is/was a great city. I live directly in between Nashville and Atlanta. I frequent both.
The irony of folks from Baton Rouge talking about Atlanta being a lost cause

Everyone in Louisiana is from Baton Rouge now?
But yes, I'd rather live in BR environs with other southern people I can relate to than in Atlanta where I'd feel like a fish out of water with all the fobs and transplants. You're probably one of the Midwestern ppl who moved from Cleveland or Chicago to Nashville in the last 30 years

City limits =/= the metro area. Outside of Miami, the city limits of pretty much every major US city are arse.
When people talk about how great it is living in Dallas, they are talking about McKinney, Frisco, Allen, and Fairview, not the city limits.

No you don't.While several very have made it a temporary situation I can't think of one of my clients who have made it permanent and I deal with Coke NA,CFA,Kroger,Southern Co,Manheim,UPS and Piedmont HC amongst others.

See my above list.ALL are "big companies" and none have made permanent moves to close brick and mortar buildings. :
