America has made it through everything us idiots living here can throw at it.

I imagine the country was pretty damn dark during Vietnam and the REAL 60s civil rights movement.

Edit: forgot the biggest one, a frigging Civil War that cost 618,000 American lives.

Probably the two biggests tests possible.

Yeah, things seem shitty right now, but these idiots pushing won't control the narrative forever. They are already getting tons of blowback now from ALL people. The pendulum swings.

So stop with the end of times bullshite. We'll get through this and hopefully be stronger on the other side.

There is no pendulum. There is only an anchor. The less we fight, the deeper we sink

America hasn’t been around that long for the pendulum hypothesis to yield consistent results.

Seems like each generation is a little shittier and dumber than the last.

There is a pendulum. How do you think Trump is sitting in the white house right now?

More POC are supporting him and voicing their opposition to what's happening, because they realize the left is going too far again.

I have to get ready for work now. Fries arent gonna cook themselves.

The big difference between now and then is definitely how the media reports/doesn't report the news. Now you have Twitter and Google silencing anything they deem right wing news and their opinion pieces are just Dem talking points.

I get you’re trying to be positive. However, Vietnam protests were justifiable. The protest now is just crap. Cereal box characters weren’t considered racist back then. We are living in a clown world now.
