Most of what's been said, also get some Yamaha ring free and add it to your gas. Its expensive but it works. The absolute worst thing for a 2 stroke to sit up. Also, if you have a jackplate you may want to spray some contact cleaner in your modules, mine lose contact from time to time. I need to do them now. Make sure battery terminals are clean. If you have hydraulic steering make sure the oil is at the proper level. Make sure steering linkage bolts are in good shape.
