When they unveiled the new logos in April, the press release stated it was mimicking the Serpentine Wall at UVA. A wall built by slave labor. I found a few articles from April chastising UVA for doing so, but it seemed to be water under the bridge until now.

IT IS STARTING. The Orwellian elimination of history because of modern day arrogance and narcissism, thing is I never thought of UVA's mascot in a racist/hateful manner, these Antifa fricks are relying on some tenuous/weak arguments to make this case. What if we learn that popcorn was discovered by people with a connection to people who owned slaves? I'm supposed to stop eating popcorn? HELL NO, POPCORN TASTES AWESOME. It's really dumb if we think about it, without the UVA brand, why would anyone want to care about UVA? Might as well be the University of Montana or some no name school. It's all horseshite.
