Which ever one fits your hand and you are most comfortable with.

I do like the 226, Glocks have a strange grip angle for me. Never felt comfortable holding one.

I think a better comparison would be a p320 variant to a g19

P226. It's a classic. Everyone should own one.

I really like my Sig M11-A1, at least before my canoe hit that stump. I am comfortable with da/sa. That said, Glock seems to be very popular with almost every ex-Seal, ex-Delta or ex-CIA operator on the YouTubes. I’m sure they are very reliable and dependable.

Two very different animals. The sig is DA/SA and the glock is striker fired. Both are very reliable. I prefer the sig, I hate glocks.

I'd personally get the Sig, but got your mind made up? Look at a Canik TP9SA for hundreds less. 9MM 18+1.

Review vs. Glock 19.

Could find them out the door / shipped for under $400 or less.

Gunbroker.com Example.

Mine are S&W M&P 2.0, and love them in that size range, but Canik would have been something to consder because of the price and reviews.

What are you using it for?

ETA: You are comparing a full size (P226) to a compact (Glock 19). The SIG is going to be considerably heavier, so if this is for concealed carry I would say that is a major consideration. If you this is a range gun or a stay at home gun, then that isn't so much a factor.

I have a glock 42, I hate it. It's too small. I shoot the 19 very well, I hate the way it looks though.

Read the Glock book, you will hate them too.

I'd get the sig or a cz or FN before I buy another Glock

Mr Glock was corrupt and used corrupt practices to buy off the police departments.
