Michigan's future non-conference schedule is full in 2021 and 2022, while LSU's is full in 2023. The Wolverines are also scheduled to play a home-and-home series against Texas in 2024 and 2027, and a home-and-home series against Oklahoma in 2025 and 2026.

I'm quite sure LSU/Michigan would be willing to pay whatever break fee would be required to boot a FCS or non power 5 team off the schedule.

Neither will play two P5 non conference games in 1 season. Not gonna happen.

LSU played Oregon and WVU in 2011.

We will probably play them in the outback bowl or capital one bowl pretty soon

WVU was not a P5 at that time. They joined the big 12 in 2012

But the Big East champion had an automatic bid to a BCS game. They won the Orange Bowl that year.

O would absolutely smack Harbaugh into retirement. That program is LSU under Miles right now, but worse.

You got me. I’m man enough to own up. If the American is made up mostly of former big East teams then why doesn’t the American get an automatic NY6 bid?

Because after Miami and Va Tech left the Big East in 2003 or 2004, it was always kind of a joke that the conference still got an automatic BCS birth even though they still won a few of those games.

Michigan definitely won't they only have three OOC games a year. They will not schedule LSU along with Texas/OU, in addition to Ohio State/Penn State/Michigan State/Iowa..

Probably not, but that looks weaker than LSU’s normal schedule.
