Is there a strategy where you can stay in a casino for weeks at a time playing cards or slots & actually make money?
What bankroll would you start with? Blackjack is probably your best bet, you have to play smart because remember you must continually win money, because this is a business venture so to speak.

Maybe, but it’s a gamble

Don’t gamble.

No such thing long term if you play against the house. You will always lose. If you play against other gamblers (horses, sports, poker) you have a chance if you're very smart and very disciplined. With the amount of effort that takes, it becomes just another job, and a highly stressful one at that. You'd be better off working 9-5.
That said, the Kelly Criterion is what you're looking for. It will slow down the loss of your bankroll. Content warning: there's math involved LINK

Only possibility is to not play against the house. Which you can do in a casino poker room. You're playing against the other players, not the house, so a really good player can wait out variance and make money. Unless you end up in a poker room with tons of other great players.

Jacks or better video poker optimum strategy are the best odds of any casino game. 99.54% return on your money, so you still lose.

The only legal way to guarantee steady money from gambling is to go to work in a casino. An advantage player can play a winning game, but because of variance the money does not come steadily.

Double your bet until you win. Simple math.

You can "have an edge over the house" if you count cards in Blackjack. That coupled with money management techniques can have you winning a decent amount consistently.
The issues are the automatic/constant shufflers and the size of the boots compared to how many cards are played before another reshuffle. That coupled with the fact that you need a big roll to start and have to take on a bunch of risk periodically in some of these money management techniques have you handcuffed.

I have been very successful at the buffet tables.

If I ever even think about going to Las Vegas I just mail them a check for half of what I would have taken with me, saves me money.

No. Every game in the casino has a built in house advantage.
Blackjack has the best odds in the casino IF you play perfect strategy. The problem is, most people do not play perfect strategy. It's house advantage is only 0.5%.

"Parlay" is French for "I have a gambling problem"

No, but if you want to go drink for free you can do that easily. I went watch a game and sat the bar and played video roulette. I placed even bets on red and black. Zero dollars lost and free beer while I watched the games.

There was a roulette strategy I watched on YT that seemed a no-lose proposition, involving betting on red (2:1 pay out) and a certain section of higher odd numbers every roll no matter what.
He demonstrated it on an online table and after about 50 spins over 15 mins, the dude was up by almost $2k. He showed spreadsheets where he made $150k in the past month.
So I went to try it at the casino, and after about 12 spins in a turtle-paced 2 hours (due to a crowded table involving chip buys, bets, spins, payouts, and dealer rotations), I was only up by $10, and slowly realized this strategy would take 24 hrs & shitload of endurance to make any significant gains. Now I realize it was definitely a strategy for lightning fast spins on online tables, not real tables.

I used to play Blackjack consistently years ago and studied enough to be an advantage player.
Here’s what you need to know:
Yes, Blackjack can be beaten consistently by a skilled player with a large bankroll who is playing at a favorable table.
Skilled player:
1. Knows basic strategy without any thought and can make minor adjustments to it based on the count.
2. Can count through multiple decks effortlessly (not as hard as it’s made out to be in movies).
3. Knows how to fluctuate his wager according to the count. The card counter wins by “manipulating the scoreboard,” not by winning the most hands.
4. Plays like a machine. There’s no “gut feeling,” only numbers.
Bankroll:
1. To count cards long term you would need many thousands of dollars (I would say 100K minimum) to give you some cushion against early bad luck and to give you the betting ramp (the difference in your minimum and maximum bet) needed to overtake the house edge.
Table Rules:
1. The lower the table minimum the better. You don’t want to give the casino anymore money than you have to during a poor count, and it gives you a larger betting ramp.
2. The fewer decks the better. Fewer cards means the count will be more sensitive to change, which is what you want. Ideally, the count should go back and forth from positive to negative with every hand. Avoid large shoes and never play continuous shuffle machines.
3. 3/2 Blackjack is a must along with other standard rules.
If you’re a good counter and play the game to its maximum effect you will be identified quickly. That’s why a lot of players try to camouflage their counting but this cuts into your already small advantage.
In a perfect world with an unlimited bankroll and no chance of being banned a card counter would play nothing but the table minimum or maximum.
