It’s not like the trial is next week
By the time it actually happens it will be mostly forgotten about
Hell, what’s going on now has nothing to do with him now

I imagine the trial won't really happen until next calendar year
definitely after the presidential election
but don't forget that this will be a highly publicized trial... so when it does happen... all the news stations will be replaying the video of the incident and the riots that broke out b/c of it... lots of chances to rekindle those flames
the only question I have at the moment... will the judge allow cameras in the courtroom or not
ETA: this is all of course barring a plea agreement
also... I'm still gonna say the trial (if there is one) gets moved out of Minneapolis to another county halfway across the state
which could also seriously change the jury pool
I've pointed this out already... imagine the anger that will come out if this trial is moved to Todd County, Minn., a county that voted 70%+ for Trump in 2016, or a similar county
