Why do people think this has anything to do with each individual's decision to follow their own compass on whether or not to kneel?
If Drew had said what Jim Brown said, there would be no issues. Its the fact that he basically gave the opinion that what other players was doing was wrong and said it was disrespectful of veterans.

In fairness, he’s only speaking of himself, he didn’t try to comment on others doing it. At least not in that quote
