Has there ever been a worse mayor in US history than Bill De Blasio?

This man makes Ray Nagin immediately post-Katrina look like Rudy Giuliani immediately post-9/11. I’ll grant some successionst mayors in Atlanta and Richmond as worse, but other than that, who is worse? I’m willing to take suggestions. He makes crack smoking mayor Marion Barry look like a competent hero. New York would be under way better leadership with Rob Ford than their current leader.

Also you got to keep this in mind: how many other cities have these mayors harmed by their own incompetence/malice? Can’t think of any other mayor that has destroyed other major cities due to his own incompetence. Marion Barry was simply confined to his own city. De Blasio’s incompetence has spread to others.

He got the job for a reason.
He literally ran as a loud and proud communist and made no apologies for it and NYC still voted for him by a landslide.
They voted for him. They own everything he does as Mayor.

I know, but our greatest city will be a shell after all of this largely thanks to him. It’s just tragic.
EDIT: As will Hong Kong, the second greatest city in the world.
