I am hopeful the NFL season will be cancelled

When NFL icon Drew Brees, who has supported social justice for his teammates and the country and has contributed incredible financial resources to improve the lives of minority citizens is bullied and bludgeoned and forced to apologize simply for respecting the American flag there is no reason to continue to support these people who have lost all perspective. Working toward social and legal justice can peacefully co-exist with support and respect for the American flag, the rule of law and the expectation that duly established laws by respective legislative bodies will be enforced consistently and fairly, not subject to mob rule, political agendas, political correctness or executive order. It would be wonderful if the NFL season is cancelled due to health concerns and these self indulgent and self important athletes had to deal with the real life economics the rest of us face.

Maybe Winston will start and the NFL will have a new rule where black QBs get an extra 17 points to start the game in the name of equality.

If there ends up being a big outbreak in Orlando when the NBA restarts the season, it’ll kill the NFL for this season.

Maybe a rule where a Pick Six only counts 3/5 as much if thrown by a black QB?

If it’s canceled and some of the more ostentatious players have to go without pay for a long time, I bet you see a lot of people standing tall with hands on hearts during the anthem next year.

I am almost to this point also. I don’t want to give another penny to anyone that is supporting all this protesting g and looting. I have been saving a lot of money not eating out and going shopping. I am buying more From local grocers and produce to support local businesses.

I am almost there with college athletics after the way LSU and other universities were also bludgeoned into releasing their virtue signalling messages. They remain silent when police officers are brutally murdered either in the course of criminal investigation or when ambushed while simply maintaining security but wax eloquent over the death of a person who had 10 prior arrests. The act perpetrated by the officer needs to be addressed by the legal system, but there also has to be moral equivalency and all of the virtue signallers have failed miserably.

Agreed. I'll find something else to do with my Sundays rather than give attention to those entitles assholes. Praise to Brees for being real. Rodgers can eat shite with his fake arse response. But hey, when you live life with a beard by your side that is to be expected.

Sports is the only thing keeping the parasitic news networks alive. Let the vultures finish killing the NFL, the sooner they crash the quicker we can back to sports as competition.
