What type of statistic are you talking about?

It depends on what data is included, and also on the meaning of the data to determine how to make the adjustment.

In the case of interracial crime, we are excluding a lot of data (same-race crime), so there is no need to "adjust" the numbers in this way. The data is already adjusted by black/white ratio by virtue of using only the interracial data.


Again, this goes to show how easy it is to manipulate people with statistics.
