Back to Floyd... what took so long to get him in the car

AFTER the knee first touched his neck? I get that he resisted before that. But it seems like they were fumble fricking around once they had him down. Anybody know the answer to this?

I've heard several cops ask this question on TV and radio as well.
According to them, unanimously, what Chauvin did was against training and protocol. He killed that guy, plain and simple.
Call a spade a spade.

Nobody knows why the idiot cop was kneeling on the dudes neck. Floyd wouldnt get in the car, he resisted. There has to be a protocol for subduing someone and getting them into a police car. Its definitely not kneeling on someones neck for 10 minutes. The cop is a POS

I heard that they were waiting for a police car that could transport the suspect because all the cars on scene didn't have the capability.

There is video that shows he was already in the car at one point (entered from driver side), then there was a scuffle and for some reason they took him out of the car (passenger side). Why did they ever take him out of the car after he was already in the backseat?

According to the body camera report, the officers tried to get Floyd into the squad car for five minutes between 8:14pm and 8:19pm. They eventually gave up, and it was at that point that Chauvin pinned him. At least one of the officers expressed concern about “excited delirium”. In other words, Floyd may have had a panic attack or something similar, and that’s why they pulled him back out of the car.

According to the MPD code posted here last week, neck restraining is a real thing and has acceptable use cases.
That post/document could have been fake but seemed legit.

How anybody could downvote this post in what I would assume is disagreement is beyond me. Officer frick-face murdered that man.

The poor black guy killed in Texas was worst. Pulled over for traffic violation.
Do you have a weapon?
Yes Sir. It’s in the glove box. I have a permit.
Reaches to give permit and hand over the weapon.
The cop shoots him 6 times. Dead as a door nail.
Of course everything is 10x more fricked uo in Texas.

Cop laughs. I meant in the car. Yes on way to hunting club, was trying to get in a last minute afternoon hunt. Long discussion on guns and hunting occurs, and I show him some of my ARs and we talk about modifications etc. I literally have an AR in my hand multiple times and he never feels threatened. (They were not loaded of course.) He decides not to give me ticket.
That’s the difference between white and black in America. There was really never any tension in the situation.

b/c he was resisting and the officers couldn't "secure" him (get him in the seat and the seat belt on)
you can't just throw him on the floor and drive away... still need to get them in a seat and attach the seat belt
since they couldn't seat belt him in they pulled him out... and I guess called in, and were waiting for, the paddy wagon

Here is what I don't understand. I've heard it been said that he was being very resistant. That he was making it very difficult for officers to place him in the police vehicle.
Otoh, I have seen this as well.
So which one is it, because these 2 sound contradicting.
And not only that, we see him be let up only for the paramedics to arrive and they immediately place him on the stretcher. So if the cops on scene had already been worried enough about him that they called paramedics on scene, why did they feel the need to STILL have a knee on his neck as if he was actively resisting the entire time.

This sounds just like Philando Castile case in Minneapolis a few years ago. Cop got off free, did something very similar happen in Texas as well?

I was on Navy Shore Patrol in Spain back in the day.We would kneel on the side of their face.Once we got them handcuffed we loaded them up and got them back to the base ASAP.It wasn’t good to have crowds gathered around.
