You think Floyd was being sent a message?

but there's going to be an interesting argument that he was using approved police procedure to subdue a suspect.

I agree this could be coming into play BUT to me there was a mindset he had that he was going to make it a point to kneel on Floyd as long as he felt like he wasn't caving in to the pressure of the bystanders to get off him. By golly he was going to be calling the shots on that situation because he had the power and he'd be damned if he was going to get up off Floyd because the witnesses were telling him to. That's where things went totally wrong...his power tripping attitude.

Going to be very difficult to prove Chauvin choked him to death when Floyd didn’t die from choking to death.

You’ve decided he’s guilty because of your feelings.

We need to take a step back as a society and realize that we are giving authority to detain, arrest and use lethal force to a few people that are all around scum. Law enforcement needs a higher bar to enter.

Agree, but this guys full opportunity to present his version of the truth and a defense in the law must be given him.

Since the Obama insurrection activity, it is becoming harder and harder to recruit police.

Counterfeiting? That's why the cops were called on Floyd

There’s also more to this story since Floyd and Chauvin knew each other personally

No, I formed an opinion on his guilt based clearly on the video evidence and other evidence which is available. I am usually never keen on jumping to conclusions on these incidents but this was a protracted event where the distress of Mr Floyd was clear and clearly pointed out to the officer by the onlookers. My understanding is that he was also in a medical distress situation that they called paramedics on to the scene before he was subdued. Furthermore the officer had numerous past complaints as well so I feel I can surmise an opinion based off the existing factual evidence vs just my feelings

Now that we know Floyd was full of fentanyl and had a heart attack, can we bail out now Chauvin now?

Guy was just doing his job.
